THE HUERS ARE COMING! Clev and old mate of 20 years' standing, Phil Caffrey, have formed a new duo called The Huers. They are busy in rehearsals and recording at the moment, but have set up a MySpace page with some of their early studio and live recordings - click here to have a listen. The Huers perform original material penned by both Phil and Ian, and also some classic and obscure covers - rehearsals have heard them playing round with songs by Billy Joel, Yazoo, Show Of Hands and Joan Osborne to name a few. They have several live gigs planned - found out where by visiting their website. |

| SIMPLEXITY'S NEW ALBUM OUT NOW! Ian is
also working on a new album (their second) with his old school mate
and musician Haydn Jones. The band is called Simplexity, and
their debut album, Time Stood Still, was released on 28th
April 2008. The tracks are in an electronic chill-out style, with plenty
of acoustic and electric guitars in attendance. There has been great
reaction in the first album. In the meantime, here's an exclusive for all Clev fans. The following full track, Ailsa Craig, is the original version of the Simplexity track that became Edge Of Dawn (track 6 on the album). Whilst it has the same melody and basic structure, it was yet to be fairy-dusted by the magical programming skills of Simplexity techno-whizz Haydn. | NIGHT VISIONS NOW AVAILABLE ON iTunes Ian's
second solo album, Night Visions, was released on iTunes
in early 2008. This is great recognition of a wonderful ambient album
that was critically acclaimed on its release in 2001. An unexpected
success has been its ability to help people with sleep disorders and
stress to relax and get to sleep. It has also been helpful in getting
babies to sleep when played at a low volume too. |
