THE PETERHOUSE E.P. - ODD@EASE

Released in August 2000 in order to help raise funds for Peterhouse School, an autistic specialist school in Southport, England. 5 tracks are on the CD, including Won't Back Down which features a fiddle solo by Phil Beer (Show Of Hands, Albion Band, Mike Oldfield), and also some of my theatrical soundtrack work with keyboard player Mark Hibell.

THE WRONG TYPE OF RAIN - ODD@EASE

The Easies' first album, released in 1998. Original acoustic folk with a few surprises thrown in, this 13 track CD has sold consistently well since its release. Among the highlights are Where It Belongs, Tired Eyes, and Lannigan's Ball, all of which feature in our live set.

ELIZA FERNLEY / WARRIORS OF THE SEA - ODD@EASE

A cassette single, taken from the above album. It was released in December 1998 to coincide with the anniversary of the lifeboat disaster that the first song is about. All profits go towards the Southport Lifeboat Offshore Rescue Trust for which we have so far raised over £1,000.

The Warriors track is a poem written about the 1886 disaster, set to music by the band; it is narrated by John Porter, father of two of the present lifeboat crew (this track is not on the album).

This was my very first commercial release, let loose on an unsuspecting world in 1995 via cassette single. Profits from the 5 track mini album were donated to the Nordoff Robbins School for Music Therapy in London, which specialises in developing autistic children through music (spot the charity link yet?!).

The mid 1990's saw me collaborating with Oldham musician and rugby historian Mike Turner on some unusual rearrangements of lesser known ABBA songs. This was The Visitors' second album, and my first involvement.

Recorded at Oldham's Cresta Sound Studio and my home studio, the cassette album features 6 tracks covering various styles.

This was The Visitors' third album, released in 1996. Taking over a year to make, it features a story written by Mike Turner about ABBA meeting up with The Beatles in Pepperland - a sort of sequel to Yellow Submarine. I wrote and arranged most of the soundtrack, with songs interspersed between the story performed by the group.

Each of the songs are medleys of ABBA and Beatles songs - you have to hear them to understand! This sold as far as Japan and Australia through the respective Fan Clubs.
